I remember my first ultra---Holiday Lake 50K--and my ITB siezed at mile 17 and I basically walked/shuffled into the finish. I was totally spent but I loved it. I took some time off, iced the ITB, and ran my next ultra (Masochist 50) the following fall. The rest, as they say, is history! What about you?
