Spent the weekend in Providence, Rhode Island for my brother's wedding. Pretty neet town, Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design are there...never had the grades for either one :o)!
Anyway, Music Appreciation 100 started yesterday...nothing too tricky. In fact, it was quite an interesting class. I was not the oldest one there which made me feel a whole lot more comfortable! It's basically a brief history of music from the medieval (400 ad) to the contemporary (present). One of our assignments is to write 3 music reviews during the duration of the course...1 symphony, 1 chamber, and 1 jazz. 14 more weeks to go for the spring semester.
Photography starts this evening from 6-8:30 pm and am hoping it is not too basic. That's all for now.
